Our Story Continued....
Cysgod y Coed was lovingly created by my mum and dad, Mel and Mick, over 25 years ago. They built the house, cottage, and log cabin here in the Snowdonia National Park, pouring their hearts into welcoming guests from near and far. For them, it was always more than just running holiday cottages in North Wales — it was about creating a peaceful retreat where people could relax and feel at home.
Now that they’ve retired, Dan and I are honoured to carry on what they started. For us, looking after our cottages just for two is about continuing that family tradition of warm Welsh hospitality. With the same care and attention, we’re here to make sure your stay is relaxing, memorable, and full of the little touches that make a holiday special.
